Choosing the right vibe for every moment, the sessions spans from beautiful downtempo songs to more energetic club oriented tracks flowing through tempo, style, time and genre.
From his personal carrer to his work behind Bassofondo and his associations with Spandau ballet's funding member Steve Norman or the legend DJ Alfredo Fiorito (initiator of the "balearic sound" and one of the creators of house music) to his many collaborations with DJs like Angel Cielo, DJ Susso or Carlos Diaz .

"Bassofondo is an Ibiza based electronica, downtempo and house project of the artist and music producer Rafa Peletey. But it's also a DJ set with a very particular character, mixing Nu soul with smooth jazz, soulful house with retro cool and club infused jazzy sounds. To give you the idea, you could hear Miguel Migs next to Steely Dan and The Reel People after Boz Scaggs or Keb Mo.
The history of music is combined here to create a somehow unexpectedly homogenic mix, reminescent of the eclectic concept that originated the Balearic Sound.
Rafa retakes this philosophy and creates a unity out of very diferent styles and achieves a coherent atmosphere with the brew of different genres and tempos. Nonetheless, all of them share some common denominator, and timeless quality is achieved in the field of infinite musical possibilities".
